Nurturing Pupils’ Enthusiasm and Interests
We believe passionately in educational breadth, therefore we aim to provide an environment in which pupils can develop intellectually, socially and spiritually, helping them move from childhood to adulthood in such a way that they will be able to take their places in society as successful, responsible, hard working, compassionate and sensitive people. A proper preparation for adult life means nurturing the body as well as the mind. Consequently, we offer a wide range of extra curricular opportunities and encourage all pupils to pursue interests beyond their studies. Grange School pupils travel widely for competitions and participation in activities with other international schools locally and overseas as a regular part of school life.

Discipline and Rules
Our aim is to help every pupil learn to take responsibility for his or her actions and to recognize the importance of rules designed to protect both the individual and the community. Our rules are founded on the principles of consideration for the health, safety and emotional and physical well-being of everyone. Any pupil who undermines these principles or who brings the school into disrepute can expect serious consequences.

Pastoral Care and Counseling
Each pupil is well known to the form tutor who has the overall responsibility for his or her well-being. In addition every pupil in the secondary school is assigned to a personal mentor who gives individual support and monitoring, both pastoral and academic.
Grange School has plans to develop a full-fledged counseling and special needs department. At the moment, due to the absence of the required facilities and personnel, the school operates an admission policy that excludes moderate to severe cases. The counseling department runs an effective academic support programme where an individual education programme – IEP is backed up with counseling for each underachieving pupil.
Our counseling department organizes counseling sessions to provide needed support to our IGCSE classes as they choose their subjects for future careers or select colleges and universities for further education. Consultants are brought into the school to work with the pupils in addition to organized visits to places where needed information are to be found. The career counseling sessions also involve parents to ensure a collective decision.

Health Care
Grange School maintains a well-equipped infirmary located in the main building. A fully trained nurse is always on duty whenever school is in session. Specialist doctors and other medical practitioners are brought into school to examine pupils as and when required on a regular basis.
