The annual charity walk organized by the P.T.A was a highly successful event once again.
It was well attended by teachers, students, and parents; especially  fathers.
 A novelty football match was organized by the PTA “The Daddies Team” lost 2-3 to the Senior School Team.
The Mummies Team also went down 0-2 to the Junior Boys Team.
The PTA raised N2.5million during the charity walk. They also succeeded in having 2 Buses donated to the School, one by MTN and another by a private donor. A truly stunning effort. Well done, Congratulations to all the parents.

Staff News
Two teachers resigned in September, last term in order to go to the U.K. to further their studies. Both teachers are hoping to be re-employed at Grange School when they return in September, 2008. They are                         Mrs. Nwabuikwu in Key Stage 1 and Ms. Adediran, who is qualifying as SEN teacher.
Mr. Essien a steward who served the school for 20 years has tendered his resignation, whilst Mrs. Piamo who has served the School for 18 years has tendered her resignation. Mr. Kolade, the Business             Operations Manager  resigned at the end of October. The recruitment of a new Business  Operations Manager is still in  progress. 
Mr. Alani Sanni, the Web Site Administrator has been on admission at Motayo Hospital Ikeja for many weeks and was recently discharged. Presently, he is  at home  recuperating.
 
	Mr. Oloyede a member of the English department won an award from the International Association of Teachers of English as a Foreign Language for an essay he wrote. He has  been invited 	and will be spon        sored by the organization to visit England next year.  

	A few  new appointments took place and they are; Mrs. E Lewechi has been appointed to the position of     	Library Assistant and Mrs. A. Dosunmu as a Literacy teacher in the Primary school. An additional French 	teacher, Mr. F. Kabamany has been appointed  to relieve Mrs. Akinfenwa who is to have an eye          	operation, on her return  he will remain on to support mid-stream entrants and weaker pupils to 	achieve the level of the rest of the class.
               Mr. Pope has been appointed as the Chairman of the Nigerian International  Schools Association. (NISA)
	Academic News
	2008 SAT’s and Optional Tests for Primary School.
	We wish to bring to the attention of the School community that the U.K government changed the regulations regarding the marking of the Key Stage 2, SAT papers. International schools are now required                                                                  to pay to have their SATS scripts marked. This is no longer a free service. Therefore, parents are to carry the  cost of  the examinations as is the practice in Years 9 and 11 as from next academic year (2008/9).This year (2007/8) the school will bear the cost.
