Text Box: French Day - Secondary
On the 12th |November the French Department organized a French Awareness Day. The objective of which was to encourage and motivate the Grange School Community to learn and speak French. Teachers were encouraged to  address their students and to give a few class instructions in French.
Offices, Laboratories, the Library, and Business office blocks were labeled in French.
Posters with inscriptions like ‘Getting it Right’ ‘Welcome to Grange’ appeared in French labels Students’ French projects were put on display in the Plaza
The general Assembly featured a quiz; a drama presentation, songs and poem renditions in French. The Moderator of the programme – a year 10 student - conducted the entire assembly in French.

Mathematics-Secondary
Selected Secondary students are being prepared to enter for the International ECIS Mathematics competition to be held in March 2008.

Sciences-Primary & Secondary
A Science Fair was organised by the Science Department of Grange School and was sponsored by Katchey      Company Limited. The theme was “Waste to Wealth “.Top International Schools were invited and Corona           Secondary School won the Inter School Quiz Competition. (Grange did not participate in the quiz as we were the host) Queens College won the Invited School Project Display Competition. However, our pupils were required to display their talents in the “Display Section” of the Science fair.
Toluwalase Olajoyegbe and Precious Ismail tied in the 1st place position overall in the Display Section of the competition. Dr. Banire, the Commissioner of Environmental Affairs, was the guest speaker and visited all the      pupils’ projects.
The science fair enjoyed extensive media coverage on National Television, National Daily Newspapers and         Educational Magazines.

Business Studies/Economics-Secondary
In-house entrepreneurship project
Year 8 students formed pseudo companies to provide  services within the school as well as selling various items. The purposes of this exercise was to enable students to learn how to make and manage money, formation and     liquidation of companies and also afford them the opportunity of applying theoretical knowledge in real life       situations.

Research project
Year 9's was involved in a guided research project on” Identifying buying habits of students at the Tuck Shop”. This was in line with the topics of study this term, which centered mainly on 'Marketing and Marketing Research'. As a guided project, it serves as an introduction to concepts that will be addressed at higher levels of education and real business life situations.
