Text Box: Page # Text Box: Primary School Admission for 2008/9 The Enrolment process for reception is to begin in the second week of January, 2008. Important Development in the School School Software and I T Developments Five (5) Interactive white boards are to be installed, one in each of the Computer Centers, the Library, the Primary School Science laboratory and one portable system for general use. Eventually interactive whiteboards and computers are to be installed in all the classes. The process of implementing a school software system has begun. Very soon parents will be able to have access to their children’s performance records and other vital information regarding their progress via the school’s website. Playground equipment The playground equipment has arrived but unfortunately did not comply with our standards . We are making arrangements to procure more acceptable equipment. The playground will therefore not be in operation this term. Sports and Track Field Project The construction work on the new sports field has commenced. The aim was to complete this project by the middle of February, and to hold our Athletics Day at Grange once again. However, the contractors have indicated that this will not be possible and so our athletics day will be postponed for Primary section and held off campus for the Secondary section.. Refurbishment of the Secondary Section Chemistry Lab The Chemistry Lab in the Secondary Section is to be refurbished in the course of the this term. Language Laboratory The computer center in the Library is to be upgraded to a Language laboratory - facilities should be operational by the end of term. Year Book The supplier promised delivery of the year book on the 6th December, 2007.Sadly our supplier has not delivered the year Book on the agreed date. We apologise for this situation. We have had great difficulty getting our 2006/7 Year Book up to standard, thus the delay.
